Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform antiside tone operation without any need for a transformer and also to realize broad-band transmission by transmitting and receiving a call signal via a photo coupling element and by coupling a DC loop. CONSTITUTION:Once supplied with a DC and call signal voltage at light emitting part 26A from transmitting amplifier 29 via artificial line element 28, a photo coupling element operates to make photo detection part 26B conduct, and the switching operation of a DC loop is performed by this DC voltage. Further, since a current determined by element 28 flows through light emitting part 26A, the current flows to line impedance 110 and light emitting part 27A of the photo coupling element via photo detection part 26B at a rate determined by its current transfer ratio. Therefore, since the current flows through photo detection part 27B coupling with it, a 180 deg.-out-of-phase signal voltage is developed across impedance element 30, and consequently those two voltages are canceled each other by being applied to an adder circuit composed of resistances 31, 33 and 34, thereby performing antiside- tone operation. Therefore, the antiside-tone operation and broad-band transmission can be attained by a miniature and lightweight unit.
