Abstract

PURPOSE: Specific amounts of vaporization accelerator and releasing agent are added to a solution mainly containing a film-forming resin, a vaporizing solvent and perfumes and the resulting solution is applied to form films sustaining smells for a long time and the films can be peeled off after used.
CONSTITUTION: To a solution, e.g., that is prepared by dissolving a film-forming resin, as ethylcellulose or polyvinyl acetate, and perfumes in a volatile solvent, preferably ethanol, are added a vaporization accelerator and a releasing agent. The vaporization accelerator is a substance hard compatible to the above resin, perfumes and solvent, e.g., powdery cellulose, fiber glass or silica. The releasing agent is soluble in the above solvent, e.g., silicone oil, aliphatic alcohol or aliphatic ester. The amounts of the vaporization accelerator and releasing agent are 1W50pts.wt. and 0.1W10 parts per 100 parts of the resin respectively. The vaporization of the perfumes from the coating films is good and the strength of smell also is sustained. Further, the adhesion and releasability of the coating films are good.
