Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit effectively information by a simple constitution by making use of a commercial power line, by modulating and transmitting the consumed current of the commercial power line by an information signal from a transmission side and then by detecting and modulating the consumed current at a reception side. CONSTITUTION:In transmitter 20 in an unattended station, output information 27 and environmental information on a temperature, humidity, rainfall, etc., from repeater 21 are sequentially written in sent signal processing part 26 in parallel. Its output is sent to modulation part 24, whose modulation output signal modulates the consumed current of commercial power line 23. The variation of this consumed current is supervised by wattmeter 4 in a ground station and detected by passing- current detector 31 and after waveform-shaping 32, it is led to received-signal processing part 33, where storage, arithmetic, etc., are performed to output information 34. Therefore, this simple constitution provides effective transmission of information making use of the commercial power line.
