Abstract

PURPOSE: To assure easy and accurate wear adjustment by attaching a fastening nut on the wear adjustment nut coupled to a brake disc by means of the pressure welding process.
CONSTITUTION: The undersurface of a fastening nut 15 is attached, by the pressure welding process, to the oversurface of a wear adjustment nut 14 coupled, through bolts 161, 162, to a brake disc 12 fixed on a motor shaft 10 with the aid of a key 13. Betweeen the wear adjustment nut 14 and the thread part 102, no play will be generated if the bolts 161, 162 are loosened to disconnect the wear adjustment nut 14 from the brake disc 12, and the nut 14 is turned for the proper angle so that the undersurface approaches the magnet yoke 25 and coupled again to the brake disc 12 and if, thereafter, the fastening nut 15 is screwed fast onto the oversurface of the wear adjustment nut 14. Thus, the gap 30 which has become large due to wear of the friction pad 23, can be easily adjusted with accuracy.
