Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform a sensing of defective feeding of a character wheel of a number printer and to facilitate an inspection work thereof by arranging magnets in a circumferential surface of the character wheel of number printer in such a way that they correspond to each of the characters and by applying components for specifying each of the characters to the magnets.
CONSTITUTION: Checker 76C receives a signal from a hole element 38C, a shift signal from one-shot multi-vibrator at a lower column 42b and a timing signal from one-shot multi-vibrator 82 of a timing setting means and thereby judges their logic. The shift signal is kept for a specified period of time by a temporary memory circuit 84C in the same manner as that found in the circuit 74. In this case, even if a pulse is not flowed from the one-shot multi-vibrator 72b at a lower shift side, an output from decoder 68c is varied to make a co-generative signal. This signal turns on F/F circuit 64 via OR circuits 86, 62 and finally to operate an alarm device 66 or a device for terminating a driving of the printer device.
