Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate waste of energy and to make the device simple, inexpensive and improved in productivity by inserting the piston rod into a hole in the bracket secured to a movable platen and connecting the pnerumatic cylinder and the air vent in the mold by a pipe. CONSTITUTION:When it is attempted to move the mold from the mold opening position to the mold closed condition, the movable platen 4 moves in the direction A while the movable die 6B is brought into tight attachmebt against the fixed die 6A to close the mold 6. Concurrently with this movement, the bracket 11 secured to the movable die 6B abuts against an adjusting means 12 to let the piston rod 10 move in the direction A, causing pressure reduction in the pneumatic cylinder 9. Since the charge-over valve 14 remains at its neutral position during this operation, the lowest pressure is reached when the mold 6 is closed. Upon completion of mold closure, the change-over valve 14 is operated so that air in the mold is sucked out from the air reservoir 6D in the movable die 6 through an air vent 6E and a pipe 13, whereby pressure in the cavity 7 is reduced to promote inflow of the resin injected from a spool 8.
