Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the radioactivity of great area efficiently and to avoid the damage of photo electron tubes, by detecting the radioactivity with radioactivity- photo conversion through the use of wide angle light collector and immediately stopping the application of high voltage to the photo electron tubes is the light shield film of the scintillator is destroyed.
CONSTITUTION: The radioactivity detecter 1 consists of the radioactivity-light conversion medium(scintillator)2 converting radioactivity into light, wide angle light collector 3, reflector 4, light pipe 5, and photo electron tube 6.
