Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A high molecular glue aqueous solution is added to an active substance, e.g., caldium oxide, etc., to form the paste 2 for capillary zone, and then the paste 2 is coated on the electrode core 1 of a metal netting, etc., and rolled by the hot rollers 3 and 4 to mold the electrode plate. The high molecular glue used includes hydroxypropyl cellulose, etc., which is capable of being gelled by heating by the hot rollers 3 and 4 heated to a temperature suitable for gelation at the time of molding.
