Abstract

PURPOSE: To make striking efficiency of pile driver remarkable in accordance with piled ground by providing pressure accumulator connecting through throttle valve to buffer solution pool for the pile driver that storess buffer solution above anvil.

CONSTITUTION: When piston 1 wound up with wire 6 is dropped, it strikes the surface of buffer solution 4 in cylinder 2, compressing the latter to produce pressure, which makes the solution flow into pressure accumulator 8 through throttle valve 10 owing to the difference of pressure from accumulator 8. This slows down the rising speed of pressure. Then solution 4 swells and solution pressure begins to fall, but as buffer solution 4a found in accumulator 8 which compresses gaseous body sealed up in bladder 11 is kept in high pressure, solution 4a flows reversely from accumulator 8 into cylinder 2 through valve 10, which slows the falling speed of pressure of solution 4 in cylinder 2. Thus, by regulating the opening degree of valve 10 according to the ground, the size, duration and others of pressure are controlled and striking pile 7 is performed with excellent striking efficiency.
