Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten stop position, reduce the burden of drive system and improve operating characteristic by letting the drive system make magnification changeover driving for more than a fixed time then stopping the same in a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:While the optical system is being driven to a life size position, an FF1 and FF2 are set and a relay RA1 is energized and a magnification changeover driving motor M is running forward. When a variable power key is operated, the FF1 is reset and the FF3 is set and the motor continus forward running. When the optical system reaches the specified position at the time of variable power, the FF2 is reser by the output of the sensor S1, the FF4 is set and the relay RA2 is energized, causing the motor M to run backward to drive the optical system to the variable magnification change. When the optical system reaches the variable magnification position, the FF4 is reset by the output of the sensor S2 and the motor M is turned OFF.
