Abstract

PURPOSE: To steplessly exactly control an automotive transmission by providing a variable amplification degree amplifier circuit for producing an output voltage determined by an engine speed and a throttle valve opening, a gear shifting motor drive circuit, a feedback circuit and a differential circuit, etc. in the transmission.
CONSTITUTION: The resistor 32 of a variable amplification degree amplifier circuit E2 increases its resistance in response to the increase in the opening of a throttle valve V. When a voltage e1 responsive to the throttle valve opening and vehicle speed is therefore generated from the circuit E2, it is applied to the base of first transistor 36 in a differential circuit E3 and simultaneously charged in a capacitor 43. On the other hand, a voltage e2 generated in a feedback circuit E5 is increased upon turning of a motor operated lever at its top position and applied to the base of second transistor 37. Accordingly, when e1>e2, the transistor 40 is conducted to cause the motor to be rotated normally to thereby shift the gear shifting member to the top position so as to thus reduce the rransmission ratio of the transmission. When e1<e2, this configuration is operated inversely to the above operation.
