Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid malfunction by flowing smoke to the smoke detecting section by means of convection. CONSTITUTION:The detector consists of the light shield window 15 formed at one side by clipping the smoke detecting chamber 14, which includes the smoke detecting section 2' at the shield case 12 covering the printed circuit board 7 mounting electronic components, and the light trapping fin 16 formed at another side. The smoke detecting window box 13 containing the light emitting element 9 and the photo detection element 11 is provided, and the smoke introducing box 18 is fitted at the lower end of the detector cover 17 covering the side of the smoke detecting chamber box 13 to form the smoke introduction path 5' horizontally and connects the smoke introduction path 5' and the smoke detecting chember 14 vertically via the opening 17a. Thus, fire smoke flowing to the smoke introduction path 5' via the insect prevention net 19 flows to the smoke detecting section 2' without accompanying smoke by cigarettes and floating substances by convection, and it is detected with the light emitting element 9 and the photo detection element 11.
