Abstract

PURPOSE: A rubber or plastic incorporated with electrically conductive fibers is milled in one direction to produce formed articles with electrically conductivity anisotropy.
CONSTITUTION: Carbon fibers or electrically conductive metal fibers are mixed with a green rubber containing a vulcanizer or resin powder and then the mixture is milled with a milling roll in a certain direction. At this time, the fibers are oriented in the milling direction and the sheet has high conductivity in the direction. Through this method are permitted the productions of antistatic hose, sheets for vessels, magnetic transducer element or signal display device.
