Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable light quantity and illuminance distribution to be controlled simply through exchanging of projecting lenses by controlling the brightness of a light source with a half-fixed resistance for all projecting lenses and putting the light source in the positions corresponding to the magnifications of the projecting lenses.
CONSTITUTION: To change a projection magnification, a projecting lens 8b is brought to the projecting position P by operating a changeover lever. This changing- over causes the supply power to a light source 4 to be controlled and the images of a film F to be projected in a screen 12. A resistance is so regulated that the images thus projected become of the same illuminance as the one when a projecting lens 8a is used. As a result of this, the illuminance becomes constant irrespective of the changing-over of the lenses 8a, 8b. In addition, depending upon the magnifications of the projecting lenses 8, automatic controlling of the position of the light source 4 is so accomplished that the position of the light source 4 is brought further from a condenser lens 6 when the magnification is high and is brought closer when low. Thereby, the illuminance ratio between the center of the screen 12 or exposed part 27 and the periphery may be made constant irrespective of the magnifications of the projecting lens 8.
