Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a half-waved formed body continuously and efficiently by installing a pair of forming rollers, including one forming roller having cut grooves on the surface of teeth thereof, and a press-roller, and supplying the forming rollers with a sheet material and threads while supplying the press-roller with another plane sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet material 1a is guided to a meshing portion 8 of forming rollers 3, 4 and multiple threads 7, 7... are guided to the meshing portion 8 passing through circumferential surfaces at bottoms of grooves 6 simultaneously. Here, the sheet material 1a is formed into a waved sheet material 1 and is proceeded under being pressed intensively by the multiple threads 7 on the sumit portions of the waves. On the other hand, a plane sheet material 2 is painted with an adhesive 9 through an adhesive spreading roller 14, thereafter, is guided to a contacting portion 16 of a press-roller 5 and the forming roller 4 and is adhered here to the waved sheet material 1 having multiple threads 7 by being pressed intensively. According to this method, a half-waved formed body for heat-exchanger element may be manufactured continuously and efficiently in one process.
