Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent dry-out and increase maximum heat transporting capacity and a heat conductive area by attaching a group of heat pipes to a rotating axis with an inclination of 0.5W2° and making a revolving radius of a high-temperature chamber side bigger than that of a low-temperature chamber side.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid of high temperature, introduced from an inlet port 10, heats a high-temperature side of a group of heat-pipes 6 and the heat is transferred to the group of heat-pipes 6 in a low-temperature chamber 3. On the other hand, liquid of lower temperature, introduced from an inlet port 12, contacts with the heated group of heat-pipes 6 in the low-temperature chamber 3 and is heated. In this case, the operating liquid evaporated in the high-temperature side is moved to the low-temperature chamber side in high speed by attaching the group of heat- pipes 6 with an inclination of 0.5W2° to a rotating axis thereof and making a revolving radius r2 of the high-temperature chamber side higher than that r1 of the low- temperature chamber side, therefore, a vapor stream will never be disturbed by the revolution. On the other hand, the operating liquid, condensed in the low-temperature chamber side is returned to the high-temperature chamber side in high speed by a centrifugal force, thereby, dry-out may be prevented.
