Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of red rust in pipings, equipment, valves and the like by maintaining the concentration of oxygen dissolved into the hot water below 4ppm with a deairing device provided into the hot water feed circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A circulating pump G is interposed in the course of the return piping 3b to a boiler B from cock faucets 2 ... for forced circulation of hot water to check excessive drop in the temperature of the hot water in the course of the out going piping 3a when the water is not used. In addition, in the course of the out- going piping 3a, a deairing device 5 is interposed to maintain the concentration of oxygen dissolved in the hot water below 4ppm by removing bubble in the circuit. A check valve 4 is interposed in the piping to the return piping 3b from an expansion tank 1. With such an arrangement, it is possible to check the generation of the red rust without use of any component material, made of a costly stainless steel or with a resin lining, or application of rust preventing agent.
