Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy removal of the light source and to always keep the distance between the fiber beginning end and the light source constant, by enabling to mount the light source on the concave of the alignment member elastically.
CONSTITUTION: The light in ring shape from the light source 7 is fed to the projection outlet 16 with optical fiber bundle 9, the reflection light from the bar code is fed to the photo detection element 19 via the lens system 18, the reflection light is converted into electric signal with the element 19, and it is outputted to the cable 23 via the amplifier 22.
