Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a composite-film-coated steel material which is excellent in corrosion resistance and which forms no blister due to corrosive environment, by forming on the surface of the steel material an under Mn-plated layer, an intermediate layer of compounds of one or more members slected from the group comprising P, B, Si etc., and an upper surface layer of a coating medium film.
CONSTITUTION: On the surface of a steel material is formed a layer of dense corrosive material composed of 5W400g/m2 Mn-plated layer. On the above described layer is pref. formed a layer of Mn oxide hydrate 5W2,000Å in thickness, both the layers forming an under layer. On the under layer is formed an intermediate layer composed of one or more single or composite cpds. of one or more metals selected from the group comprising P, B, Si, Cu, Mn, Cr etc. in a ratio 0.02W 10g/m2. The intermediate layer can be improved in adhesive property to an upper layer by the addn. of org. resin such as a rosin derivative etc. On the intermediate layer is formed an upper layer, i.e., a surface layer, of a mixt. of boiled oil etc. with pigments, plasticizers, pref. 0.2W500μ in thickness, thereby manufacturing the desired steel material coated with a composite film.
