CONSTITUTION:When the desulfurizing material comprising compounding calcium carbonate at 7-15% to quicklime powder is charged into molten iron, a suitable amount of CO2 gas is produced to prevent agglomeration of quicklime, thereby providing the desulfurization effect equivalent to that of calcium carbide.
