Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of dust collection and to make the dust collection easy by moving a dust collecting zone under such condition that plate type dust collecting electrodes are vertically suspended, and removing particles deposited on the electrodes in non-collection zone.
CONSTITUTION: Dust collecting electrodes 20 composed of a plurality of plate electrodes are suspended by a electrode suspension shaft 22, and rotated at equal speed by a pair of ropes 24. The force of power source 30 is transmitted through an intermediate pulley to upper driving sprockets 34, 34'. There is provided a roller 38 in contact with a lower driven sprocket 36 in order to prevent the loose of the ropes and at the same time to use it as conducting means to the earth. For example, a pair of brushes 40, 40' are arranged so as to rub the face and the back of the plate type dust collecting electrodes 20. As the brushes 40, 40' perfectly remove dust deposited on the dust collecting electrodes while rotating, the efficiency of dust collection can be enhanced.
