Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the sanitary treatment and the aseptic operation or the like by the closed system in a continuous filter apparatus for food through a mechanism wherein the high pressure air injected from an air nozzle to the filter cake deposited and remained on a filter belt and the said filter cake is released and simultaneously blown off into an exhaust cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A squeezing roll 4, a main roll 2 and a auxiliary roll 3 are rotated and, by a filter belt 7 on the auxiliary roll 3 and the main roll 2, the slurry introduced therebetween is squeezed. The filtrate generated at this time is dropped and collected in a filtrate receiving tray 9, thereafter is taken out from a filtrate discharging pipe 10 to the outside. On the other hand, the filter cake deposited on the filter belt 7 moving on the main roll 2 is squeezed between the squeezing roll 4 and thereafter is blown off by a pressurized air injected from a plurality of nozzles 12a of an air conduit 12 during turning on the squeezing roll 4 and reaching to a quide roll 6. Thereafter, the filter cake is released from the filter belt 7 and collected to the outside of the apparatus through a filter cake exhaust cylinder 1.
