PURPOSE:To secure the multi-division in terms of space by giving the optical switch to the time-division multiplication optical signal sent from the optical modulator in synchronization with the input of the optical modulator. CONSTITUTION:The n-units of the multiple signal's pulse signal Ms of P1-Pn is supplied to optical modulator 1 in synchronization with the clock pulse of cycle t0 to be used as the time-division optical signal. This signal is transmitted through optical fiber 2 and then led into optical switch 3 containing n-units of the output terminal. Switch 3 performs the optical switching of repetitive cycle T0 and pulse duration t0 in synchronization with the input signal of modulator 1. Then the signals are separated into output optical fibers 41-4n through the n-terminals to be delivered. And these optical signals are converted into the electric signals through optical detectors 51-5n.
