Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent wear of roller by dividing the roller rotating on a ring-shaped body or sliding on a guide surface that composes a part of the body into plural and by making divided rollers rotate on them.
CONSTITUTION: In a roller-gear typed driving device of intermittent rotation, the rotation of cylindrical cam (d) having projecting part C with consecutive spiral and straight parts on its outer edge which follows the rotation of main driving axle causes intermittent rotation of subordinate axle B in engagement of several follower- rollers (f) made on the outer edge of disc (e) with the above cam (d). Each follower-roller is constituted by plural divisions. Divided rollers (f1) and (f2) are rotated at a different rounding speed, although radii (r1) and (r2) from central axis O1 to the points I and II on the side C1 of projecting part C are different and the rounding speed of points I and II are also different. Thus, shearing contact of roller is avoided and its wear is prevented.
