Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve energy efficiency, by simplifying constitution wherein one end portions are pivotally supported to a truck frame and the other ends are connected to oil pressure cylinder devices in the crank-pins of each arm of a crank-shaft concentrically fastened to a sprocket shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A crank-shaft 10 with crank arms 10a, 10... is concentrically fixed to a sprocket shaft 6 to which a sprocket 7 is fastened, and one end portions are pivotally supported to a truck frame and the other ends are connected to oil pressure cylinder devices 12, 12..., which are manufactured so that expansion and contraction are successively controlled by means of a proper means, in the crank- pins 11a, 11b... of each arm. Thus, this device is extremely simplified because a power line is eliminated which extends to the sprocket shaft 6 from a power source and contains a final reduction gear.
