Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the winding of a wire and make the ends of the wound wire compact, by providing main windings and auxiliary windings located inside the main windings to form image poles.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor is placed outside a stator provided with main windings 1 and auxiliary windings 2 to build an electric motor. When the main windings 1 are placed to form four image poles, windings for two poles are integrated as one winding on stator teeth 3 to limit the number of the main windings to two. The auxiliary windings 2 are placed in the same manner as the main windings to limit the number of the auxiliary windings to two. The auxiliary windings 2 are provided prior to the main windings 1 so that the auxiliary windings are located inside the main ones. This facilitates the shaping of the ends of the auxiliary windings 2 whose wire diameter is smaller than that of the main windings 1.
