Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A toner concentration detecting device 9 consists of a container 10 of funnel shape, a cylinder 11 formed integrally in the lower part of the former, and a coil 12 wound around the cylinder, and the detecting part is composed of the cylinder 11 and coil 12. The inside diameter of the cylinder 11 is larger than the lower opening of the funnel-shaped container 10, and the container 10 and cylinder 11 are made of nonmagnetic materials. An agitating member 13 to agitate the developer D is rotatably provided in a developer container 3, and a toner replenishing device 5 detachably fitted to the left of the container 3 is composed of a toner container 14 and a replenishing member 15 to make rotary motions intermittently in the container 14.
