Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The perforated gas sensing substance 1 and the insulator tube 5 having the through hole 4 to lead in the lead wire 3 picking up electric signal from the said sensing substance, are bonded to fix the perforated gas sensing substance 1 and the gas detector is manufactured. As the perforated sensing substance, the ceramic sintered substance such as TiO2, SnO2, Cr2O3 can be available. In the gas sensing substances fixed with this method, gas can freely move in the fine holes 9, then sufficient bonding strength can be obtained without injuring essential performance.
