Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain winding roll having no change of winding width in radial direction, by regulating the pressing force.
CONSTITUTION: Soft plastic film such as transparent lap film is wound by pressure roll where the air doesn't enter between each layer of film while the shrinkage in the direction of width of film between each layer doesn't change even after long term. The pressing force onto the core of roll is controlled in the range of 0.015kg/cmW 0.045kg/cm per unit width of product. When winding with said range of pressing force, the difference of width between upper and lower windings can be limited within 6mm in such case that 1m of film having 305mm width and 13μ depth is wound over core having outer diameter of 900mm.
