Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve accurate time detection by making a decision on correct and incorrect time patterns by measuring the length of the continuation of a received time signal and an interval between signals by a reference signal extracted from the watch circuit of an electronic watch.
CONSTITUTION: A sound signal including a time signal is inputted to input terminal IN and a circuit formed of flip-flops 1 and 2, counter 5 and AND gates 6 and 7, and OR gate 8 decides on whether or not the continuation of the input signal is equivalent to fixed length of a prediction signal. Further, a circuit consisting of counter 9, flip-flops 10, 11 and 12, and gates 13 and 14 measures the intervals of input signals to decide on a time signal pattern. On counting a correct-time signal, counter 17 counts up to output a time correction signal to terminal 18. Therefore, digital decisions are possible and accuate time detection is carried out.
