Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment of operating tremor intensity and also to facilitate set motions, by providing such a mechanism that a falling body is resiliently held by an elastic holding member and at the time of occurrence of an earthquake the falling body falls in resistance overcoming the resilient holding force so that a valve is closed.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of occurrence of an earthquake which is higher in intensity than a set tremor, a spherical body 15, which is held by a holding fork 12a of an elastic holding member 10 consisting of 3 board springs 12 at angle intervals of 120°, falls down onto a fall chamber 14 on the bottom. And then, a lift lever 16 located in the fall chamber 4 is pressed downwardly by falling of the spherical body 15. At this time, a stopping spring 19 is pressed sidewards by a slope 16b of a lift lever 16 whereby engagement between a flange section 17e of a cylindrical valve 17 and a stopping projection 19d is dismissed, and the cylindrical valve 17 is sprung out downwardly by a coil spring 18. As a result, the communication between a circular groove on the cylindrical valve 17 and a gas flow passage 2 is intercepted. Adjustment of operating tremor intensity is done by adjusting amount of pressure applied by an adjusting screw 13 onto the member 10.
