Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain superior deodorizing effect with a simple and low cost construction by mixing heat resisting metallic wire sporadically in heat resistant fibers which serve as a bearing material, weaving them in one sheet, and further, forming a reticulate catalyst into a cylindrical form and hanging it from a frame formed of straight lines.
CONSTITUTION: From a frame 2 above a burner 1, a retlculate catalyst cylinder 3 is hanged. The catalyst cylinder 3 is formed of woven heat resistant fibers such as glass fibers which serve as the bearing material of the catalyst, and heat resisting metallic wire 4 such as stainless steel wire is interwoven sporadically. In this case, the aperture ratio of the rticulation of the catalyst cylinder 3 is set at 0.5W0.6 and the mesh is set at 2W3mm. By so doing, superior deodorizing effect can be obtained and yet the construction can be made simple at low cost.
