Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable automatic detection of amount of wear of collectors with good accuracy, through the constitution of the end approach at the specific point of train lines and the location of one or a plurality of gap sensors.
CONSTITUTION: The collector 8 of the collection unit 4 and the train line 3 are elastically in contact with each other, power is fed to the vehicle to run and it reaches the end approach 5 placed at the specific point of the train line. The collector 4 reached the end approach 5 is open along the approach and it is latched to the collector stopper. In this case, no power feed is made to the vehicle but it makes meandering as it is and reaches the end of the end approach 5 and the vehicle continues running with power application again. One or a plurality of gas sensors 7 mounted on the induction wall 1 in the end approach 5 via the stand frame 6 detect the gap between the collectors 8 and the slide plane.
