Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent electrolytic corrosion, by increasing the mechanical strength of the connecting portions of small tubes in ceramics such as beryllia by brazing the small tubes through cylindrical portion materials and by earthing each cylinder portion material by means of a conductive wire. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumferences of the both ends of small tube ports 2a-2c in beryllia are worked 7a-9b by means of metallization, and a portion between an anode 10 and the part 2a and portions among the part 2b and the part 2c and a glass bulb 12 are each brazed through cylindrical portion materials 11. Thus, joining contact area increases, and the mechanical strength of connecting portions augments. Since portions among the cylindrical portion materials 11 are connected by means of the conductive wire 12 and earthed, the distribution of potential is produced among the cylindrical portion materials 11 and cooling water, and the rendering of the cylindrical portion material at the high potential side into the cooling water by electrolytic corrosion can be obviated.
