Abstract

PURPOSE: To process signals at the light receiving portion side without an external power source, by supplying electrical energy, which is stored in an accumulating portion by photoelectric conversion, to an electric signal processing portion as a power source.
CONSTITUTION: A high luminance LED1, a lens 2 and a solar cell 3 are arranged in dumbbell-like shapes, and the solar cell is connected in series and in parallel and feeds the desired line voltage. A rectifying accumulating portion 4 contains a reverse-current blocking diode and capacity, and a system up to the accumulating portion 4 from the LED1 makes up a service power source generating means. A high-speed light receiving portion is built up by a high-speed LED5, a lens 6 and a PIN photo-diode 7, and pulse signals received are amplified by means of a signal processing portion 8. When necessary and sufficient photo-energy is given to the photo-electromotive portion 3 by continuously radiating the high output luminous portion 1 first by drive signals a with double width, and pulse signals are transmitted to the high-speed luminous portion 5, output pulse signals c are obtained from the electric signal processing portion 8, and the light receiving portion side does not require an external power source.
