Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit the continuous change of tube current by converting the output of function-generating circuit into a heating current for X-ary filament.
CONSTITUTION: When setting the tube current setter 7 at a tube current value, a voltage corresponding to the set tube current value is put in the function-generating circuit 9, and the output of the circuit 9 is then put in the differential amplifying circuit 12 through the function parallel transfer circuit 10 and the function amplifying circuit 11. In the differential amplifying circuit 12, an output voltage of a functionally approximated tube current characteristic curve is compared with the position signal of the sliding brush 17 of the autotransformer 16 connected to the primary side of the filament-heating transformer of X-ray tube, and then the output so obtained actuates the sliding brush 17, permitting the obtainment of a set tube current.
