Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a prescribed revolution to be preset and controlled by open loop while eliminating stop error, by starting and stopping operations in synchronization exactly with a power source frequency of a motor. CONSTITUTION:An ultra-low-speed synchronous motor 1 is connected to a 100V AC power source 3 through a drive control circuit 2 for starting and stopping of its operation. The drive control circuit 2 is provided with a so-called 'Zero-cross' starting and stopping function which is capable not only of starting the motor 1 in synchronization with zero-voltage time of a power source voltage but also of stopping the operation exactly at the time of ending of cycle. This drive control circuit 2 is given starting and stopping signals by a compasion circuit 4 consisting of a digital counter, etc.
