Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a high-reproducibility test in a simple and economical way by reading out the standard waveform stored in the ROM and then supplying it to the patient supervisory unit.
CONSTITUTION: Control circuit 4a within breathing part I is actuated, and thus the desired test waveform is read out to the output side of ROM3a to be applied to photo cell lamp 8 via D/A converter 5a and driving circuit 6. As a result, the value of resistance R5 forming lamp 8 varies, and accordingly the voltage change is caused between output terminals S2 and S3 to be applied to detection terminals T2 and T3 of patient supervisory unit 1. At the same time, the desired test waveform is read out of ROM3b via the operation of control circuit 4b of electrocardiograph part II and supplied to output terminals S2 and S3 via D/A converter 5b and level control circuit 7 to be then applied to terminals T2 and T3 of unit 1. In such way, the test can be given to unit 1.
