Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an easy measurement for the conductor resistance even at the line featuring a large amount of the induced voltage by connecting the DC power source to the conductor of the cable to be measured via the inductive load and then measuring the voltage drop across the cable via the integration-type voltmeter.
CONSTITUTION: DC power source 5 connected across measured cable 1 and its conductor 2 or shielding layer 3 is provided, along with voltmeter V which measures the voltage drop across calbe 1. Thus the inductance is formed, in which such function is incorporated as to give a high and low impedance to load 4 with the AC and the DC respectively. Voltmeter V consists of the integration-type digital voltmeter and others. This voltmeter erases the AC component, thus obtaining the conductor resistance.
