Abstract

Material 2 filled in dice 1 features the liquid state before hardening to be used as the transmission medium for the ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic wave is irradiated to wire 3 via flaw detector 4, and the reflected wave is received to be displayed at display part 5. In such way, the presence or absence of the defect in wire 3 is detected.
