Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase height of upper level capable of casting concrete in one time by improving mechanical strength of steep layout block wall panel group itself and between one end other of steep layout block wall panels.
CONSTITUTION: Several steep layout block wall panels 1 are connected to each other by means of bolts 12 so as to form steep layout block wall panel group. The panel group is further reinforced by a number of longitudinally arranged vertical reinforcing steel bars 6 so as to form an integral block barrier body. A space is formed between each steep layout block wall panel 1 and backing shim plate 5 owing to stay rod members 3 projecting rearward from each block wall panel 1. Back-up concrete material 17 can be safely poured into the space between block wall panels 1 and backing shim plate 5 to complete gravity type block barrier, since steep layout block wall panel group has enough mechanical strength to resist against pressure of poured concrete.
