Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently transport parts, by lining up machine screws supplied under an irregular condition while arranging the head portions in the fixed direction by means of a rotating drum revolved and a pair of parallel guide rails, and by transporting the machine screws by means of a belt.
CONSTITUTION: When housing a large number of screws 50 in a housing vessel 2, the screws 50 roll and fall in the bottom terminal 7a direction by an inclined bottom 7. The screws at said terminal 7a are housed in each partition chamber A1WA4 of a rotating drum 11 revolved in the clockwise direction by means of a motor 5, and slowly lifted to high locations by means of dash-boards 16. The screws 50 upward raised move to the opening end side of the rotating drum 11 along the taper of a boss portion 13, and fall on the guide rails 22a, 22b of a lining-up transport mechanism 20. Thus, only the screws that the screw portions are properly entered between the guide rails 22a, 22b are lined up, the lower ends contact with a belt in a casing 26 and the screws are transferred.
