Abstract
PURPOSE: To save the labor of replenishing sheets into a feed cassette at the copying of a large volume by so constituting the appraratus that copying sheets may be fed separately in a large volume from a place other than the feed cassette in the copying apparatus by making use of a feed case.
CONSTITUTION: A copying apparatus 1 and a feed case 69 are combined. A bundle of, for example, about 1,000 sheets of copying sheets is housed in the feed case 69 and these are fed, sheet by sheet, by a feed roller 68. A copying sheet discharge port 69a opening to the outside is provided to the upper part of the feed case 69 and a conveying path 69b is provided between the same and the feed device in the feed case 69. The sheets fed from this feed device go, sheet by sheet, into the copying apparatus 1 by way of the conveying path 69b, the discharge port 69a and the insertion port 1b, thence they are sent to a transfer part 26 via a conveying path 59 and a conveying path 51. By utilizing the feed case in this way, the labor of replenishing the sheets into the feed cassette at the copying of a large volume may be saved and the copying machine may be miniaturized.
