Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish a transfer with a high clearness and a great durability by feeding under pressure heated air from one of the upper and lower chambers while suction is made at the other chamber when a sublimating dye is penetrated.
CONSTITUTION: Chambers 18 and 20 are arranged facing each other sandwitching work 10 with the upper one connected to the exhaust side of the blower and the lower one connected to the suction side thereof. A heater 28 is provided at the air intake on the side of the upper chamber to heat and deliver air into the chamber. As the heated air current runs through the work 10 and a transfer sheet 12, the dye sublimated by heat penetrates into the work guided by the air current. When the heated air current is fed under the pressure, it is evenly dispersed into the chamber 18 with an aid of a regulation plate 34 and further uniformized with a screen-like body. In addition, suction behind the work 10 and regulation of flow to the right angle with the screen-like body 40 and the regulaton plate 36 combines to enable further penetration of the dye smoothly to the back from the inside.
