Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the cross talk of the circular arrangement ultrasonic wave transmission and reception unit array, by covering the stem of material having the specific audio impedance more than a given value, with the surface layer of material smaller than it. CONSTITUTION:The circular arrangement ultrasonic array is constituted with the oscillator groups 5-1-5-N, cylindrical stem 7, surface layer 6, signal line 8, and water tight mold 9. In this case, as the material of the stem 7, the specific audio impedance is more than 10X10<6>kg/m<2>sec, such as stainless steel and ceramic, and the surface layer 6 is formed with the material less than it, such as water and rubber.
