Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely synchronize even in the daytime synchro-flash photography and obtain correct exposure by providing a synchronizing switch which is turned ON by the signal of the ealier of shutter closing start time and delay time corresponding to object distance.
CONSTITUTION: In day-time synchro-flash photography, exposure time is shorter as the photo current of a photo detector 10 is large. Hence, a comparator 16 inverts early to de-energize a shutter-closing magnet 17. At the same time, a diode 23 is reverse-biased and therefore a capacitor 24 starts discharging, hence trasistors 27 then 36 go OFF. Because of this, firing current enters the gate of a thyristor 40 to turn this ON and emit light. In this way, strobe is let to emit light at the start of shutter closing and correct exposure may be obtained in the daytime synchro-flash photography of a short exposure time.
