Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the title compostion having excellent impact strength, environmental crack resistance, and moldability, by blending a specific high molecular weight polyolefin and a low molecular weight polyolefin prepared in the presence of a specific catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 30W70 parts by weight of a polyolefin having a density of 0.915W0.955 and a viscosity-average molecular weight of 300,000W700,000, and (B) 70W30 parts of a polyolefin having a density of 0.940W 0.977 and a viscosity-average molecualr weight of 10,000W40,000, wherein the ratio of the viscosity-average molecular weight of A to taht of B is 15W55, and the melt index of the composition is less than 0.05. The polyolefins A and B are prepared by polymerising ethylene or ethylene and ≤10wt% of other α-olefin, in the presence of a catalyst composed of (a) a reaction product of an oxygen-containing organo-magnesium compound and a Ti-halide, or a reaction product of an oxygen- containing oragne-magnesium compound, an exgano-containing organo-titanium compound and an Al-halide, and (b) an organo-aluminum compound.
