Abstract

PURPOSE: To make an improvement of the brightness, with a blister of the metal film eliminated, by such means that, with an organic material film, including a phosphor, constructed on the fluorescent screen, on top of that, after forming the metal film, a baking be processed.
CONSTITUTION: A solution, with a phosphor added to an organic material like acrylic emulsion solution, is applied on the fluorescent screen coated on inner face of the cathode ray tube face plate. Subsequently, after coating a metal film, a firing is processed to bake and disperse the organic material. In this way, an addition of the phosphor into the organic material film worsens a film construction in a boundary portion betwen the organic material and phosphor particle, to facilitate a degasing from this portion, and to eliminate a generation of blister when processed a firing, simultaneously with a phosphor particle made emitting a light by a hitting of electron beam, to prevent an efficiency of the electron beam from lowering down, thus a brightness of the fluorescent screen can be improved.
