Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently heat vaporize liquefied CO2 by setting a reduction valve at a connection pipe between a liquefied CO2 tank and a vaporizer and attaching a chack valve to a branched pipe linking the vaporizer and the tank.
CONSTITUTION: Reduction valve 3 is set at a pipe for feeding liquefied CO2 from tank 1 to vaporizer 2 to reduce the CO2 press. to 6W10kg/cm2, whereby the vaporization temp. of the liquefied CO2 becomes such a low temp. as -53W-38°C. Accordingly, the CO2 can efficiently be vaporized with a heat medium such as air, underground water or industrial water whose temp. is near room temp. When use of CO2 gas is stopped, liquefied CO2 and low temp. CO2 gas stay in vaporizer 2, and the gas is heated to the medium temp., so the internal press. of vaporizer 2 rises. When this press. exceeds the internal press. of tank 1, the CO2 in vaporizer 2 returns to tank 1 through chack valve 5 to prevent the internal press. of vaporizer 2 from becoming higher than that of tank 1.
