Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease currents consumed, by interrupting currents flowing through a coil for displaying expiration while stopping the operation of an expiring display detecting circuit after displaying the expiration of a battery.
CONSTITUTION: A pulse generator 5 of an expiration display detecting block II generates pulses ϕ1Wϕ4 on the basis of signals from a frequency divider 3 of a watch block I, and the output of a dynamic flip-flop 2 is counted up at a counter 6 by pulses F manufactured from the pulses and counted down at the counter 6 by pulses G. In this case, a transistor 14 is energized, and voltage supplied to an oscillator 1 and the flip-flop 2 is diminshed. When the errors of the counting of the counter 6 become not less than fixed value, a flip-flop 15 is inverted, and currents are let flow through a coil for displaying expiring. When a display plate works, the detecting block II is reset, and the currents of the coil for display are also interrupted.
